SEMA the SHOW 2023, Las Vegas Convention Center

We made it here to Las Vegas, Nevada. Our team embarked on its task of producing the best product that we can for our audience. The SEMA Show for a photographer is a dream. The amount of content to be had is almost limitless. Thinking about the sheer size of the event is not even close to what I had imagined. Pulling up to the venue and seeing it for the first time, I was in total amazement of the view of the sea of automobiles in every direction. Our team from Street Cars 101 Magazine arrived early in the AM to start our week long journey.

We took a stroll outside around a few of the buildings to take in what we were seeing and letting ourselves breathe for a few minutes before attacking the task at hand. Our first stop was the SEMA Media Center to pick up our credentials. Our version of Media Credentials gave us total access to everything at the venue, which included: Automotive accessory vendors from around the country and the world, food vendors. SEMA merchandise, Exhibitors of all types, Press Conferences, celebrity interviews, automotive seminars, celebrity talks and so much more. After picking up credentials our team set about our individual assigned tasks.

We went about our way documenting all aspects of the SEMA Show. Hundreds of photographs were taken, conversations with so many of the other entities covering the show were had. We went forth to do our interviews with our chosen groups and individuals. Seminars of various types were going on and being covered. There were various celebrities milling about and speaking with people. So many things going on, and to take it all in was a monumental task. A task that individually and as a collective was something to behold.

As the week progressed, our team networked with so many people making new contacts from all over the world. We also became closer as a group, which in turn made our tasks easier because we understood each other much better. We worked, we laughed, and worked some more. The team who started the journey as individuals working together, are now a collective who can and have accomplished much in a very short time. Stay tuned, The Street Cars 101 team is just getting started, SEMA was just the beginning!
