Singular Focus(I love working alone)

One of my very favorite things about being a photographer is that I love working alone. That has always been part of the allure of being a photographer. Scouting my sites, getting my thoughts together for my shoots, and everything that I do being a photographer is all me.

When I found my first camera at age 9 at a yard sale. I knew then that learning about the camera and taking photos would be something that I could do myself. Having my little box camera always drew folks to me, but the actual things that I did and learned came from lots of reading and and just using my camera.

Next thing when I have my cameras and I am out shooting or scouting, I am in good place as far as my mind is concerned. Shooting is therapy for me. I can relax and enjoy one of my favorite things in the world. I can be completely free to create and be as artistic as I want to be with my photos.

When I first started to take photographs I considered myself just a kid taking photos. I did not realize at the time that my love of taking photographs would become a passion. Now,  some forty plus years later, I am still learning and growing as a photographer and artist.

Getting back to my original thoughts, my personality is geared towards working alone. Don't get me wrong, I have no problems collaborating with anyone and putting together projects.

I just enjoy working alone and seeing what kind of new and interesting techniques are out there so that I can take myself to another level.

Hopefully when you look at my work, you can see the passion that I put into what I do. Even though I am a person that spends most of his time alone with his cameras.
